Seizures
Has anyone else had a Samoyed that turned out to have seizures? He is on meds now that make him slow and sleepy, twice a day, but it feels more like he is getting these seizures from some environmental thing, or maybe I just want to believe that it is curable. He had major surgery to remove a cork he swallowed back in January, he was very ill, spent several days in a specialist emergency animal hospital which we thought might have caused this, too.
He will be 5 soon, they started in March, he has been to the vet twice, once right after he had a seizure and again a couple days ago when he had them several times all one weekend. I live in frozen Maine so he had not started the flea, tick heartworm preventatives yet.
The breeder says none other of her dogs have had this then she said, "That's it, I'm done" and stopped talking to me.
