Predatory buyer

TL;DR Buyer bought hoping to flip quick, buyer mad I did not give at a an offer amount and bought outright,
Buyer Dispute hold while actively selling fishing for a partial refund. Buyer could not sell at insane markup. Buyer Sent back this morning.

Posted yesterday about being in a dispute hold while buyer was actively selling. He has shipped back today after card did not sell for outrageous price he was selling at.

Bit of a sigh of relief today as the whole situation had put me in a really rough spot over the weekend all while I was/am actively working on moving/ fixing up a house with my mother and don’t really have a steady source of income for the time being. I am all about making stuff right and I think I was more distraught over the fact had buyer reached out instead of escalating I would’ve honestly shaved off some money for it.

i really was hoping I could fight this case to the end. I’m not trying to be the knight that can just strike down a malicious buyer. But I think the case of how the buyer started this and was going about it, very much just was at the peak of frustration of having my whole account practically locked I wanted it to go as far as it could even if it ultimately lost.

That’s over with my rant today, we’re hopefully home free. Have a good day everyone.

Are there any more steps I can take in this scenario.

I sell Pokémon cards. Inconsistently.
Had a buyer on a card that I priced decently underpriced.

His one and only concern with the listing was “does it have a swirl in the holo.” He then tries to very much lowball me. I then and there knew that I just wasn’t gonna entertain it. He buys it outright.

Fast forward I ship the card and hear nothing on day of shipping.

Next day. Buyer Disputes. “INAD” says he loves the card but will only consider keeping if he receives partial refund.

The kicker here is I honestly wasn’t even paying mind to it in the sense of. He felt it was not as described I want to make it right.

until i looked at his eBay page. He currently has my card on his page for x2 the price. Listed in the exact same condition I listed as. While in active dispute.

I contacted eBay as I want to follow any step necessary here to resolve this. But as I’m currently out money this guy can easily just have leverage to actively sell my card while the funds are on hold.

Is this not considered like fraud in a way? Like I just feel helpless that it seems like the fact this guy has my card up but has me in dispute while he has the free will to sell this card while I’m screwed is messed up.

I sent out the label and am waiting in the mean time, but am I ultimately just screwed here until I can have eBay step in?
