Downgrade Crash Severity 5
I must preface this plea with the unfortunate fact that I've scrubbed all my mods, alongside any "receipts" and other such useful info in order to till the "soil" that is my Fallout 4 folder.
Now, onto the issue: recently I've been suffering crashes on startup. Nothing new, and somewhat manageable. I used CLASSIC to scan my crash logs and found something I've yet to encounter before: a Downgrade crash.
It left me stumped. I do not believe my over 1000 mods had anything to do with it it. I had Addictol installed, I made sure to download files that only worked with Old-Gen, as I always downgraded using Simple Downgrader, or was compatible with all versions. But my memory is faulty, so I may perhaps be wrong.
I attempted to solve the issue the old fashioned method: disabling mods in sequences to identify the problem. This arduous method gave me no answer, however. I still crashed to desktop, even with no mods enabled. So I gave up and deleted everything, relegating the modification of Fallout 4 to another month or day.
If anyone has any insight into this issue that yet confounds me, I would appreciate a word of advice.
