Mach-E Trunk Dynamat install

Got around to throwing some sound deadning I've had for a few years into the trunk as well as below the back seat of the Mach-E. Also removed the old 6x9 woofer in the trunk and properly mounting my amp. The old woofer had a really cool port design that has an open cut into the wheel well for more air space. Dope.

Definitely a noticeable difference in sound and vibration levels from road noise. Measure a 3-5db drop overall, unsure if it's from cheap meter but this things been pretty good.

38.1 was before test. 35 and 33 are tests after.

No matter where I put the mic 38 was the quietest I could get it. Car was 70db at 70mph previously. About 68db after install. I'm unsure if the db reading is the whole story though, vibrations seem to settle much quicker and obviously the subwoofer has wayyy better clarity sliding around notes.as well as conversation being a lot easier and an overall almost eerie lack of sound from the rear.

Very worth it install to me. Will do doors one day lol.

Thanks for reading.
