What an incredible road trip and camping machine

Making our way from central Minnesota to Detroit, MI through the UP. Currently at our first camp site. Was initially a little worried about how sparse the charging is up here, but it hasn’t been a problem!

New to the club

Picked up this CPO 2024 premium AWD with 16k miles this weekend. I needed a higher and more comfortable commuter than my Sonata.

Sadly, I have to take it back in for a low 12V notification in my app, but hopefully they can swap it for a new one, and it's good to go.

It’s been hot as hell in Colorado, but….damn! LOL!

*2024 Premium with extended range battery. City and highway driving…lol

I’ll probably never see it again, but this is just funny…

L1 charging at the Airbnb over the holiday weekend

Didn’t need to go anywhere so I just charged from Thursday evening to Sunday afternoon. We also had a Bolt topping up. Both cars got to 100% by the time we left.
Free and convenient!

Warning sign

Hello all! I’m new to driving a Mach e I’ve only had it a month or so, and it’s not turning on. I drove it to a restaurant (no warning signs) and when I went to turn it off it wouldn’t fully turn on. I had to have it towed back to my house as all shops are closed. It’s giving these display lights and when I attempt to turn it on, it says “stop safely now” and “full accessory power” does anyone know what this could be?

Has anyone else noticed that this car is a rock magnet?

I am about to purchase windshield number three. This one lasted about two weeks before the first chip had to be filled, then soon after I got another that caused a crack, I’ve been putting it off because I’m tired of buying windshields. Today I was washing my car and noticed a second chip next to the one I had filled.

I’ve been commuting the same route for 15 years and replaced or filled maybe one or two windshields in that time. I’m 2.5 years in and going on windshield number three. Is this just bad luck or is anyone else experiencing this as well?

Test Drive

Finally got round to contacting my local dealer and requesting a test drive. They didn’t have anything really in stock apart from a GT. After being told it won’t be the same as a “standard” MME I still went ahead to get a feel for the dimensions.

What a car! Kinda regret trying the GT because I now want one! Still going to ask the dealer to source a normal MME ER AWD, just hope it’ll still live up to expectations!

Best MagSafe compatible mount for iPhone 17 Pro Max?

Hi there,

I have been looking around for a quality MagSafe mount for the Mach E (2025). I have seen some that attach over the top of the infotainment screen and some others that are freestanding. I even came across one that sits in the little coin spot.

I’m looking for your recommendations? While some I’ve came across on Amazon and elsewhere look cool, they tend to have poor reviews. So I’m looking for your thoughts on a phone mount.

  1. It does NOT have to charge also, but if charging is an option that’s an added plus.

  2. It shouldn’t obstruct my view and ideally wouldn’t obstruct the view of my infotainment screen either.

  3. Should be reliable, not prone to a falling phone or a breaking mount.

Any ideas? Links would be appreciated.

Thank you!

Had an efficient trip back home from vacation today.

44 miles from the cabin we stayed at north of Greenville, SC down to Anderson to charge and pick the kid up from her father.
Charged for an hour and 3 minutes at a Tesla Supercharger while we ate at Fudruckers.
Few interstate miles then about 20 miles over to 385 a 26 down to home.
Average speed seems to be about 51 mph. BlueCruise was amazing. 0 stress. I just set the limit to 70 and chilled in the right lane. It really is amazing having nothing to really think about while driving, just keeping an eye out for traffic stopped ahead really. Cant beat this car for the shorter trips.

Select vs Premium

I am looking to buy or lease a new 2026 Mach E and there are 2 I am deciding between.

Select with comfort and tech package (cheaper)

Vs

Premium with no additional options.

Which model would be the better buy? Thanks.

Mach E vs. Rav4

Going back and forth between the new Rav4 and getting a mach e, it would be the select trim but the pricing is pretty damn good vs the Rav4. Can you tell me some reasons why I should go with the mach e and not the Rav 4 , interested in getting opinions. Thanks!

Blue cruise

Is your blue cruise as squirrelly as mine? Constantly adjusting right, left, centering? Like a nervous teenager with their first experience. I half expected to be pulled over for drunk driving with how many corrections it had on my way to my In laws.

However the cool thing i discovered today was that the ford dealership near my in laws have four superchargers.
