TLDR: i've been using an iphone 4 as my main phone for a while, what do i do after jailbreaking it? ( i am a total beginner)

the phone is IOS 7.1.2 (11D257) iphone 4, 32GB

it would be the PERFECT phone for my use case had i been able to upload .mp3 and download the photos i capture at will without having to deal with itunes and windows. and had the maps and weather apps worked. so is there a way to achieve that?

i have ubuntu on my main laptop, i tried so hard to make it connect to the phone with some terminal tools instead of only charging the phone, but i kept on getting stuck at the authentication page, the (do you trust this device?) part.

i would really appreciate it if someone would point me to were i can learn how to jailbreak it (edit: nvm mind this part, i found the wiki), and ive seen people mentioning going back to ios 5 so whats that about? (i am assuming that jailbreaking it would solve my issues)

i have both the raw AVR controller and a nano and i have schematics for the AVR controller, how do i go back and forth between them and how do pins of the AVR controller map to the nano pins? this is a schematic i'm trying make with a nano (its for a 2 well robot, my first time attempting to control a DC motor) i built the physical robot and i got stuck here

and is it normal that the pin number on the IC are kinda random? is it just that the diagram would be neater?
