its like i said in the title. after world war 2 we basically set in stone how sexuality in our country was gonna be like. heavily one sided, and different types of sexuality (gay ppl, kinks, ace, etc) get shunned. why would they be shunned you ask? because separating people into pairs that can have kids means that theyll buy a house, and have a new set of humans who can start putting value into the economy. its the most profitable way of housing people so it HAS to be done.
so an entire generation of men comes home from giving themselves ptsd, and theyre each given a bunch of money and told exactly what to spend it on. buy a house, find a female, have kids and keep them alive for 18 years.

then they raised the next generation. if you were a part of the generation that was raised like this, you either realized that your parents were deeply psychotic and tried to change, or you became exactly like them. the men you see with no control of their sexuality are part of that second group.
as for those who tried to change, tried to abandon the idea that the systematic rape of women is an acceptable or safe way of running society, well now youre considered anti society, with all the dangers that that brings. you were laughed out of your job/means of survival, the nsa is watching your internet traffic, nobody cured your aids, and the cia sold you crack then arrested you! Im being dead serious when I say this, the biggest parts of the movements to change these issues were crushed, and their leaders assassinated. you ask why there arent many from this generation who are staunchly anti war and anti treating women as property? this is only scratching the surface, theres a lot more to this. (can anyone name the theory developed 400 years ago which perfectly described this issue and most of the other issues we have currently?) I just felt like the discussion on this subreddit was incomplete without acknowledging that the issues people are having with sex are not permanent, even if nowadays they effectively are permanent because nobody on reddit is gonna delete the home industry or anything else thats causing this bs. we should spend the time to recognize that it was our country’s choice to fuck ourselves
