PSA: Starting items are ridiculously strong on Scholar

PSA: Starting items are ridiculously strong on Scholar

I don’t really see a lot of scholar mains run this but there is insane value in being able to start off with 4 uplifting aromatics, tears, and other items you can’t find easily in runs.

  1. Starting off with 4 aromatics guarantees you will hit Tier 3 aromatics since you can level them up with the other aromatics in merchants.

  2. Starting off with “Affinity”-shrouding tears, crimsonspills, bubbletears, etc. can further push team DPS even more and can get you to Tier 3 quickly.

With all of this combined and with the “Allies targeted skill gain boosted attack”:

x1.20 Scholar team buff x x1.20 Tier 3 uplifting aromatic buff x 1.30 phys. attack Tier 3 exalted flesh = 87% flat damage increase for the team

You can push this even further if you start off with hoarfrost stomp and bring Tier 3 throwing knives to the nightlord.

x1.87 (from previous calculation) x x1.20 damage reduction from Tier 3 throwing knives x 1.20 frostbite debuff = a staggering +170% damage for the whole team

Yet another reason why Scholar is secretly the S tier character when played and built properly.

I just pulled an identical relic

Absolutely speechless. What are the odds of this happening?

This person literally only blocks and it drives me insane

Playstation, I will literally never understand people and why they choose to throw matches like this. I got queued up with this person and we had a hidden night lord. I saw this guy’s username and didn’t really care until later on into night 1 he literally committed to the bit and face tanked into an undertaker night invader. We got stuck trying to fight this undertaker because she kept agroing the guardian and prayerful striking him getting her back to full.

Night 1. Level 5. Oh, and it’s depth 5 everdark balancers. We had Mohg on the final day and I was a caster duchess stuck with a frozen needle rapier chunking Mohg for a massive 114 damage per hit.

Almost an hour and a half session. It literally took almost an hour and a half to get through this entire game. I don’t know how but we ended up beating ED balancers at level 11. I will never understand players and why they will do shxt like this.
