Biggest coward in Limveld

I guess the aura walk was too much for them?

I know they like to backstep to phase transition, but this seems a bit much lmao, AITA for being too clingy here? Do I need to give my Ancient Hero friend more breathing room to come out and transition freely?

I'd sacrifice my life to point down upon this coward 10/10 times, utterly disgraceful stuff from them

I'm tryna find out what their backstep PB is (not in basement), lmk if you've experienced worse than this, I wanna hear about the greatest ancient hero guided tour around the map

Double Balancer, Evergoal/Night invader, and stacking +4 is not fun

Basically every depth 4 / 5 lobby is people stacking +4 phys or +4 holy or +2 incantations. I don't see the appeal anymore. I think if you play the game well enough, dormant powers are really good at making you seriously strong for any challenge ahead. The idea to snowball harder early doesn't compute, because if you're good enough to beat a basement boss night 1 with the immense tools at your disposal, you really shouldn't need to be making the game easier. Especially when enemies are dying faster than in non DoN.

Every match is now a rush to each night invader camp, then the castle. We don't hit any sorcerer rises, we even ignore 1 / 2 of the churches on the map, because apparently if we aren't melting everything then we've already lost, and extra heals don't matter.

I'd like to show one example of a match I had recently with two spellcasters running exactly the relics you think and playing pretty much exactly this way. We start at the bottom where the church is, and immediately head right and hit the night invader camp. Wonderful, we're around a cave, and we can take on a field boss or two around us either above or below, as now we're level 5. But instead of doing anything around us, we spent 3 minutes running back to our drop in point to take the spirit stream to the other night invader camp. See the problem? They were adamant about avoiding most of the map in favor of getting us to both invader camps, then clearing castle, and basically doing nothing. Mind you this didn't really matter because it was with a bestial revenant and a duchess that could one shot a red hippo at level 10.

Of course on the nightlord and even the field bosses they're already 3 bars because they're carried by the insane damage of their relics.

Point is, I'm not having fun when this is most matches now. And then after that your teammates are one shotting virtually every field boss. Some balancing needs to be brought towards these relics in particular, double balancers, stacking insane damage buffs, and night invader/evergoal relics, because playing with katana ironeyes, beastclaw revenants, and halo scythe duchess', whom always want to hit these above everything else, throwing good routing out the window, and ignoring any other ping, is getting super tiring.

I don't think I'm right all the time. In this example of this game you see I didn't go out and hit the things at the bottom of the map despite us taking the spirit stream, purposely to stay with the duchess and revenant. If two players agree, then I won't fight the decision. But to summarize my point, it's decisions like the ones they made that get us to level 14 for the nightlord, yet still shredding because of op relic loadouts.

You should still run good relics if you have them. Additional damage relics are often a must have because of powercreep. But I'm trying to emphasize how it's getting out of hand, and balancing has become an issue. If anything just don't make so many of these relics stack with one another, like phys/holy attack+4, and make the balancer relics not work with eachother. Dark night of the wise and night of the wise don't stack, night of the baron and dark night of the baron don't stack, this should really be normal.

Anyway that's my two cents.

0/5 Stars. Terrible establishment. Unsafe environment. Would not visit again. (Karen cut Review)

The local attractions included instant death, emotional damage, and repeatedly getting launched into the abyss.

I Finally Saw What the Rot Was Hiding

99% of the time the entire attack just looks like a giant pile of biological sludge and once you are actually inside it the pillar becomes completely invisible. Finally seeing the actual pillar form during the Rot Ball attack felt bizarre; normally the move is just rot with zero visual clarity.

Humongous PSA

If there’s a nearby grace after you three bar, kindly touch it to reset your bars for your teammates. The amount of people who don’t know this is baffling especially when they are in higher depths. I beg that you take in this information for the sake of multiple John 3 Bars I’ve had recently on formidable bosses who will continue fighting even after they go down multiple times.

This depths relic effect feels like a myth

A million murk. Hours of gameplay! And not a whiff of the Raider’s Improved Arcane and Reduced Vigor effect. There’s gonna be a new update before I get the relic at this rate and all I wanna do is be a cool lil rot raider with my dregs relic! Y’all got similar experiences?

Dormant Power Relics

I have been utilizing a dormant power relic to locate Straight Swords, but the results have been inconsistent.

Are these relics stackable, or is it merely a matter of chance?

I’m really bad at understanding relics, so please be nice!🫶

Normal Mode Raider Meta Builds

I don’t play DON because I’m trash and can’t consistently beat some of the everdarks in normal mode ED so I was hoping for some meta normal ED mode builds!

Double Digit Damage Negation Achieved

A few days ago I was joking around about the theoretical possibility of hitting 10 layers of damage negation and it slowly turned into an a mission for every expedition. Every run I kept getting closer, stacking more mitigation, figuring out what could coexist and what would override. Then the RNG stars finally aligned and BAM 10 active damage negation buffs at the same time. 10 stacks! The joke became the goal. The funniest part is I’m now convinced this nonsense can actually be pushed even further to 12 stacks with a bubble active and a Recluse cocktail in the mix. ONION Exodia to 12?!

How was your first encounter in D4

Thanks to this wonderful community and a huge shout out to a few of my recent teammates,I got my first taste of D4.

I have seen many posts stating the huge gap between D3 and D4 difficulty but it was the way the enemies moved in D4 that really caught me off guard. At D3, I was so confident as a Duchess, it was like knew exactly after how many hits I give, the enemy will hit back. So I was very comfortable in facing enemies while reviving a teammate. But in D4 it felt all too different. I felt the poise increase was through the roof!

Especially the night invaders, the aggression that they show is significantly different from what I saw in D3. My very first night invader poi, I was swiped by ironeye, not using his bow but his character skill. I have hardly seen night invaders execute their skill, except for a few instances like executors cursed blade and raider.

So to all the D4 & D5 experts, what changes did you incorporate in your gameplay that made you overcome this gap and excel?

Looking for ER themed collabs on YouTube

Hey guys, looking to find anyone who would be down for collaborating on some Elden Ring and general From Software content for YouTube, this would be more party game-style videos rather than gameplay

Not picky on sub counts etc. but must be english speaking and over 18

(Apologies if this post goes against any sub rules!)
