Cats advice on female in heat
I have offered to foster an unfixed female kitten . They tried twice to fix her but her oxygen level dropped and they had to bring her back out of anesthesia. She will now not be fixed . I had no idea what was going to happen with her . The shelter told me she had not gone into heat and they figured something was wrong medically with her. I have 4 other full grown cats , one fixed male. They are adjusting. The problem is that she seems to be in heat all the time she has backed right up to me and sprayed on my shirt and I’m watching her walk around and spray on the furniture on the bed on the blankets etc. from what I read, she will just keep going into heat. I’m not sure I can keep up with this . I’m thinking I might have to return her to the shelter. I feel very bad about it. She’s the sweetest little cat, but I can’t have her screaming all night and spraying everywhere constantly. I live in a very small cottage and do not have a lot of extra room to put her in a separate area all the time . I have had to put her in my bathroom at night because I cannot get any sleep. do you have any suggestions at all that I could do to help her and myself thank you.
