Hey everybody. So I have fallen in love with Albania and have decided that once retired, next month, I would love to live in Albania. Not sure what area yet although I really enjoyed the coast. Not sure if it matters but I will be an American expat. I guess I would like to know if it is possible to buy a place as an expat. I know I have about a year before I need to work on resident permit, but would love to find a permanent home in Albania. Also if you can recommend a website or similar in finding a place. I will visit again in early October and will be looking. Thank you all and I wish well and happiness.

Hello. I will be visiting Alabamians for the second time in three years. On this visit I am considering a move on one of the coastal cities, other than Durres, for at least a year. Does anyone have a recommendation for an agency or person I should contact to assist? Or is there a better way of finding a place? Thank you and I cannot wait to visit again.

I have an account that says “settled” on my report. Is that as bad as “sent to collections”? It is from an old credit card that I have disputed, but was just curious about the difference. Thanks.
