tutorials on proportions
Hello everyone! I fell into whittling almost a year ago and I absolutely love it. I’ve followed and watched quite a few tutorials (Doug Linker and others), and I’ve also tried experimenting on my own—sometimes with satisfying results, sometimes less so.
I’m looking to become more autonomous, and to help guide me, I’d like to start marking guidelines with the correct proportions on my blocks before I start carving. Do you know where I can find tutorials on proportions for sculpted characters and faces? I'm looking for something relatively simple, specifically for flat-plane style characters and caricatures.
