Cousin birthday
My sister in law had a baby one year after I had mine. Their birthdays are four days apart. Birthdays are becoming tense for me since my sister in law never seems to remember my daughter’s birthday is very close to her sons. Two years ago she sent out birthday invites two months in advanced for a date the day before my child’s actual birthday for example. I would be very open to having a combined birthday party but she spends significantly more than I can afford on birthdays and prefers to rent out places such as trampoline parks and pools. Last year she rented out a play place and the next day we celebrated my daughter at home with a BBQ, but I felt bad because family had to drive 45 minutes to our area two days in a row. I need some advice on birthdays going forward.
