Is this game frustrating only for me?

I don't understand.. I thought this game was pretty cool when I first saw a video on it. I always tried to avoid watching any reviews or gameplays after that and finally I started playing the game a few days ago and I didn't expect it to be this poorly designed.

Mostly I am extremely frustrated with certain cases where if you do something like going to a location earlier than another location the case might just be over and other locations and p.o.i's might get locked away so you don't get a 5 star. How was I supposed to know that for example going to the hobo camp in one case would just end the case right there and lock away the rest of it. What am I supposed to? Play the game with a walktrough?

Also the interrogation system started out pretty good but towards the end of the game it is broken. Like it is actually broken. Some suspects are giving straight answers not making any facial expressions looking like they are telling the truth and I don't have evidence against them and I press good cop because of that and its the wrong choice. Sometimes the suspect look like they are lying but then somehow they're telling the truth. Like reading facial expressions is pretty much useless right now for me.

Did anyone else get frustrated with this game like me? I like completing games %100 so I am constantly restarting and sometimes quitting and entering the game back and having to listen to the conversations again and again is also frustrating. Some might say just go with it when you make a mistake but I want to %100 the game and going back and doing all of these cases from the start to the end would be boring imo. I wish the game had a better interrogation system so we could actually use our brains and solve crime like detectives. But it just feels like a guessing game after a certain point.

Will we ever get to explore the whole metro freely?

I love all the metro games my favorite being last light. I am really excited about 2039 too and I just started reading the books and now I really want to explore the whole metro. It seems in this metro universe there are tons and tons of different stations and factions that are interesting and unique.

I think the developers have done an amazing job bringing the metro universe to life but I think a game where we can freely go around the metro as a survival game like fallout 4 would be incredible.

What do you guys think? Is it possible that in the future we can get a game like this?
