I found this at a thrift store for $38. All the logos are gone, but Google and the typewriter database agree that this is a Royal Type O, and the serial says 1937. It needs a good cleaning, but seems in good working order. The keys are a little uneven, and a few ( right "shift key" and "back space") are crooked, but that's just cosmetics. The case is not in great shape, with serious discolouration and lifting, but it's solid, again just cosmetics. There's no mildew fuck like many I've found. There is some built up old oil on the undercarriage, but it doesn't seem to be affecting operation. So, can anyone confirm or deny it's a Royal? Or from 1937? Thanks in advance!
