Today I was playing Dracu-Riot! and I reached my first sex scene, but during the scene, there was something that caught my attention.
The first route I picked was Miu's, and I was having plenty of fun with it, but then the sex scene started, and I was surprised that when our heroine referred to Yuuto's genitals, such as dick, penis, cock etc, there was a cut-off in the middle of the word. Like a letter in the middle of the word went missing out of nowhere and just disappeared.
I know this visual novel isn't new and it has over 10 years of age. Was this how things were done back in the day? I'm playing the patched Steam version, maybe that's got something to do with it?
Otherwise, is this kind of censorship something that only surged recently? Or is this something exclusive to this title? Because, to be honest that ruined the immersion I was having in the game.
