Hair and B12

Hey everyone, just here with a PSA 🗣️

My hair was stuck, literally not growing, brittle, breaking, and so dry for a looong period of time. I stopped using heat, no relaxers for years, only brushed with a wide tooth comb in the shower, oil/leave in conditioner, bonnet and silk pillow case... All of it. It would break and I'd lose my hair in chunks. Turns out, I had a B12 deficiency, called Pernicious Anemia, which affects black people, more so black women at higher rates. So if you ever feel exhausted all the time, and you can't quite put your finger on it, please consider getting your B12 checked, it's not part of a normal blood panel. My hair is doing much better, healthy and growing (Finally!)- and I feel better!
