know im a bit late but just finished watching it first time. and oh boy, i had mixed feelings abt alex, though i knew it wasnt going to be him as yk thats just how movies go, for most perhaps. but at the time when he was trying to escape, part of me was trying not to pity him, still, glad that he was able to be reunited with his family... plus, i love how the movie just portrayed that scene by just using the newspaper and not adding things up. anyway, whats ur take on the movie... also, continued to start it bc of the high ratings. kinda impossible to hope for s2 since its been more than a decade alr loll.

the movie for me is great, and it would be appreciated if u guys have any recommendations that are close to this movie.
