A Big Mac has 80 ingredients. Only 10 are from natural sources. The rest? Additives, preservatives, chemicals, and petroleum-derived compounds. Some of this stuff is so toxic it's used in shoe glue and industrial degreasers. I started a petition asking McDonald's to either source natural ingredients or stop selling these products as food. We're talking about things like soybean oil processed with Hexane (a hazardous air pollutant) and artificial colorings linked to inflammation and cellular damage. Prolonged exposure to these compounds can damage your gut, mess with your mood, cause rapid aging, and even break DNA strands. The FDA is supposed to protect us, but somehow this passes as "safe." It shouldn't. If you've noticed how processed food is making people sicker, or if you've ever wondered why fast food seems so cheap—this is part of why. Does this bother you as much as it bothers me? Have you noticed changes in your health or your family's after eating ultra-processed food? If this matters to you, consider signing and sharing the petition. Real food should be the standard, not the exception.
