The second middle Infernal Hordes war plan node will only spawn 4 events total instead of chain spawning events in the final 10 seconds, which means less aether. If you had a hard time getting enough aether before, I'd imagine infernal hordes should probably be a permanent skip in your war plan unless this is an unintentional consequence of the Varshan bug fix.

I used to enjoy the mode, but it's definitely less fun without being able to chain events at the end.

On the plus side, there's a new relic chest at the end for 100 aether which makes it a little more appealing if you don't have issues gathering aether
