Following the acceptance by His Holiness Pope Leo XIV of the resignation of Rev Fr. Gerardo F. Saco, Jr. as Bishop of the Diocese of Tagbilaran, the Episcopal See of Tagbilaran is now once again Sede Vacante.
In this period of prayerful waiting and discernment, the faithful of the Diocese are invited to remain united in faith and communion with the Holy Church, imploring the guidance of the Holy Spirit for the appointment of a new shepherd who shall lead the flock with wisdom, humility, compassion, and steadfast devotion to the Gospel.
