I just cancelled my Amex Gold after 1 year, chatted and called with them and confirmed no retention offers.

Overall, it has been a 15 months pleasant journey with Amex Gold.

Cost: $325 first year annual fee.

Spend on card: $11k grocery/dining, $6k flight.

Rewards: 100k SUB, 10k AU bonus, 44k from grocery/dining 4X, and 18k from flight 3X.

Redeemed credits: 15 months of coupons ($10+$10+$7 each month), 3 semi-annual $50 Resy.

Does anyone know when I active an offer on BoA cards powered by Upside (store/location-specific) and make a purchase accordingly, does Upside get level 2 info on what exactly I buy at the store? The offer terms exclude gift card purchase, but I wonder whether they will actually know.
