My Nintendo 1 has been broken for years and yesterday I finally started to seek to fix it. The screen is broken on the actual switch but I don’t mind that because I’m not a mobile player. What I do care about is the fact that it can’t connect to my TV screen. When I place it in the port, a green light flashes for less than a second on the bottom left, then it turns off again, so I know it’s reacting to the switch being in the port. But then the screen of the actual Nintendo turns on instead of connecting to the tv. Sometimes it connects to the TV for only a few seconds before disconnecting again. Is it time to get a whole new switch or do I only have to replace the charging port?
