Play activity not showing Nintendo store app

I made my Nintendo account about a week ago, it’s linked to my switch, has optional data allowed on security settings etc but it’s not updating? Also tried logging in and out, updating switch etc

Played every day for around a week. But nothing. In their support article it says it may take a few days to sync but surely not a week

Nintendo support act like this app is a surprise to them and I go round in circles. Tried 3 separate support tickets and 2 phone calls. I know this app is kinda new, are they not trained on it? Idk

Any help would be massively appreciated. Thanks

Como la gente puede hacer que los juegos salgan tan bien grabados?

Alguien me puede decir cómo la gente logra grabar la pantalla de la Nintendo switch como si estuvieran grabando la pantalla de un ordenador?

This screen keeps popping up when I boot up my 3ds

My 3DS isn’t modded, and it keeps going to this weird menu. It’s said something about (it’s not letting me say it, so I’m assuming it’s well known- L uma3DS but without the space) when I scrolled through the menu. I swear I saved my game properly when I turned it off, and I don’t know what this is about.

Defective Switch 2 - Save Files Recoverable?

My dad's Nintendo Switch 2 randomly started completely crashing a couple times, and the attached video shows the final time it crashed after trying to play it handheld mode. All these crashes happened in the span of 10 minutes. Now it will not turn on at all, and no amount of hard resets and cable changes fix the problem. Looks like its a failing SoC or motherboard according to the service rep and reddit. He has always played Docked so its not like its physical damage.

I spoke to Nintendo customer support and they sent me their repair/service link. However, after filling out the form, the only option that it gives me is "Replacement" and they will only "attempt" to transfer over save files with no guarantee.

Is there no other outcome for this? My dad's Animal Crossing island that he plays on every day is on this Switch and the fact that I cant recover it over a console bricking itself super suddenly is kind of crazy. The Nintendo Support Rep was unhelpful and I'm not sure what their "attempt to transfer save files" even looks like. Will they just look at it, see that it doesnt turn on, and give up? Especially with an Animal Crossing file which has a unique way of dealing with saves.

My question is: Has anyone been in this situation with a Switch or Switch 2? If your Switch has been rendered completely inoperable and you sent it to Nintendo, what was your experience in keeping your save files for games and especially Animal Crossing? Thanks!

Nintendo Switch 2 Crashes when Docked

My Nintendo Switch 2 completely corrupts and glitches after a couple of minutes of being docked. The video attached shows what this looks like and sounds like, with the system being completely unresponsive. When I take the system out of the dock, its just a black screen (with the system still being on since the controllers are still connected), and the only way to fix it is to hold the power button for 10 seconds and then turn it on again. It only happens when docked.

This problem has been repeated with multiple TV's and HDMI cables, leading me to believe this is either a software update issue, a dock issue, or a power cable issue. Unfortunately, I cant test if its a power cable issue as the dock detects other power cables and doesnt let me dock the system, and I dont have another dock to test unfortunately.

Anyone else have this problem? Is it the system itself or is it just the dock? Would love some insight to see if this is fixable or if I need to send the dock or system in for repair/replacement.

Outlook email not receiving verification emails from no-reply@accounts.nintendo.com

I just got off the phone with Nintendo and I'm pissed. They tried to tell me that Microsoft could do something to take me off of their "suppression" list but after looking into this further, I believe the support agent was full of it. They tell me the only thing I can do is change my email. I'm not going to change my email. Does anyone have any other options?

I researched this a bit further and I read that "A suppression list is maintained by the sender (Nintendo) to avoid sending emails to addresses that previously bounced, got marked as spam, or had repeated delivery failures. It protects Nintendo's email reputation." It sounds like they maintain this internal suppression list and won't budge on changing it to maintain some kind of reputation? This is RIDICULOUS and someone at nintendo needs to figure this out.

Need recommendations for console.

Hi, I'm very new to gaming and know relatively nothing about it. I would like to play games such as "A Short Hike" and "Animal Crossing" on my TV. Does anyone know what kind of machinery would be the best for this? I have heard that Nintendos are optimal for story games, however I am unsure of which one to get. Thank you!!

Switch 1 user, is the jump to a switch 2 worth it?

I’m hoping to get a switch 2 soon, I want it mostly to play pokopia and the new yoshi game that’s coming. On my switch 1, I mostly play Minecraft, pokemon arceus and tomodachi life. Would it be a waste to upgrade to a switch 2? What are some other games I can play there?

There is a sale, but I can't choose which RPG to get on Switch!

Super Mario RPG and Mario And Luigi Brothership are on Sale. But which one is worth seeking out?

I have never really played the original RPG, but I heard the remake has some good things about it. I rented Brothership once and liked it, but not sure if the challenge will be more difficult or not. I do like a challenge, but not great difficulty. So which one is worth it?

Need some help about unlinking my Nintendo Network ID from my account

I recently emailed nintendo since I need to update some stuff with my account, and they mailed me back telling me that for this to happen, I gotta unlink the Nintendo Network ID from my account, so I was wondering...

Is it safe to unlink that?

Or I will be losing something by doing so?

Any help will be appreciated!

How do I know it’s beyond repair?

I keep getting a blinking screen when I turn on the console. I’ve been trying to refurbish my original NES. I’ve cleaning the game cartridges and I think I’ve got them looking pretty good. I’ve also cleaned the 72 pin connector multiple times, boil method and peroxide. I also bought one off ebay, installed that and had the same thing happen. I returned that and tried cleaning the cartridges again and my original 72 pin connector again to no avail.

So is it cooked? How do I know when it’s time to just let ‘er go?
