Struggling with account transfer for my switch 2

I just got my Switch 2 today but I have been struggling for over an hour to get it to transfer my data from my og Switch. No amount of customer support calls or youtube videos have helped and I am at my wit's end. I'm worried I may have messed up somewhere and just wasted $500+

Update: I figured it out. My idiotic self from a decade ago made a typo in his email address and all this got solved the second I went through the steps of setting up the right one. I feel so dumb for not catching this for over decade.

Returning after 5+ years. What should I know?

Just as the title says, I'm coming back to the game after a roughly 5 year hiatus and wanted to know if there's anything super important I missed out on or should look in to. I have a level 70 Musketeer and a level 47 Witchdoctor both from the pandemic for context and have noticed some companions like the seven and Mormo got reworked so I was curious who is worth focusing on, who got a glow up, and who fell off. Also was considering starting a Privateer so any suggestions there would also be appreciated.

Tldr: I'm coming back after a good amount of years and am wondering what gear and companions are worth investing in (preferably non crown)

Any chance this cartridge is savable?

I recently found this while clearing out my closet today and figured I'd try it on my 3DS to see if it still worked. It didn't unfortunately but I don't want to give up on it so quick and thought I'd ask here for advice. It may be hard to see in the picture provided but there are some bits of black shmutz on the end that I'm considering trying to clean off with some isopropyl alcohol but wanted to check here first just in case someone had a better alternative.

Question about Scimitar Dash

I'm new to the series and am currently on the final level of Pirate's Curse but am having some trouble with one of the rooms, specifically the one where you're meant to run through and avoid a bunch of spikes with the scimitar. I've got the timing down for the most part but sometimes Shantae will just lose all momentum and stop and I can't seem to figure out why. I'm not letting go of the d pad and this problem has just started now. Am I missing something?

What's a good song to practice these kinds of notes?

Just as the title says. I'm still very much a beginner with arcade/FT specifically and I know it's recommended to alternate between left and right for the icons circled but I'm having trouble getting the hang of it. Is there any particular song that I can use for practice on this?
