Or at the very least, companions who were very popular in the old days, but you don't really see being used as often anymore? Not the ones who have always been good, like El Toro, nor the ones who glowed up, like Old Scratch.

Off the top of my head, a lot of people used their starting companions throughout the story, or at least until the end of Mooshu. I think Kobe Yojimbo was the most popular, too, and he still is! A lot of people also loved Egg Shen, and rightfully so, because he is so nice 🩷

Bonnie Anne was everyone's girl and go-to musketeer, a lot of the girls immediately made her firstmate as soon as they got her (I was definitely one of them). I think that she, Louis, and Wing were your starting team for a good duration of the early and mid game as a musketeer. Wing was your tank (kinda), while you, Bonnie, and Louis were the ranged units. She is still loved by the community, but Chantal straight-up outclasses her now 🙁

Ratbeard was very popular too! Even though he is great for defense (even better now than before), I hardly see people use him now compared to before, especially in late-game. I love using him as a "hold the line wall" when I am playing defensive tank on buccaneer or privateer and questing/farming with others. Most buccs use Peter Quint now or farm pack companions (mainly Bellator and Holkun)

Monkey King was everywhere as well, even in casual PVP. Shiruku Neko is regaining her popularity as well thanks to her new rework, and I am so happy! I have been using her the most on my swashbuckler, I plan to go for a ninja/martial arts look.

I also saw Zeena, Hawkules, and Nausica a lot-- I think Nausica was the main P2W girl when you did PVP back in the day. She and Zeena were a must for musketeers, while Hawkules was more for buccaneers.

I think PVP back then also wasn't as P2W as it is now.... mainly because a lot of us were broke kids at the time too so we didn't have a lot to spend on crowns and shop packs 😅 The most P2W we had was bundle companions-- Hugo Victor, Nausica, Hoodoo Cornelius.

So I just bought the membership for my old account. I just got into mooshu and I have to collect a statue for a guy to find the third map piece. How much more game hours approximately do I have left? Just curious

Ok so it's been a hot minute since I've played so don't flame me if this is a dumb question, but does Gracie Conrad KNOW we started the Marleybone war??? Like it'd make sense why we wouldn't reveal it to her while we're in Marleybone but that is kinda messed up we still haven't said anything to her about it afterwards.

Or maybe she knows and doesn't care. Idk

Hello guys! I am a level 37 swashbuckler, just finished Cool Ranch storyline using Fan Flenders, Sarah Steele, El Toro

How do you guys find the following worlds after Cool Ranch (mooshu and marleybone for example) in terms of difficulty compared to Cool Ranch? I didn't had any problems soloing Cool Ranch

And another question, are these 3 companions the default lineup for a Swash pirate?

I'm completely new and haven't made a character or touched the game yet. I am going to today but I'm not sure which class I'm most interested in. I've debated between a swashbuckler and a witch doctor. I liked witch doctor because I came from wizard101 and the arcane aspects. But I liked the combat style of a swashbuckler. I was looking for opinions and advice on which people enjoy and which would be the best option for a beginner completely new to the game.

I've never played Pirate101, but I'm active and really into wizard101. I have considered making an account and trying pirate101 but I haven't found much of an online community for it aside from reddit. Are people still active and playing it? I'm curious if it's worth getting into it. Thanks in advance for the feedback and time!

A bit of a silly question. I love the summon aspect of any game, espically pirate. How many summons could you get on the field? I mean huge battle field, 100+ tiles, could you fill them? If not, how many? I think 4 witch doctors with scratch and that old crab dude could do some crazy numbers.

heyy i was considering rebuying a membership for the summer because wiz is absolutely too long and grindy for me to bother. i logged into the game, and I noticed my gameplay was really choppy and laggy, even though I have a relatively new laptop, recently upgraded (m4 mac air -16gb.) i noticed the pin so i uninstalled and reinstalled and its still the same problem. is this a me thing or is it just unoptimized or something ??
