For context, the party was a young dumb people party. My friend Terry (fake name) (m20) (host of party) huge nerd, loves the iron giant, good guy all around, offered for my boyfriend and I to sleep in his bed so we wouldn’t drive home drunk. I told my boyfriend before the party “no sex, it’s disrespectful” and he agreed, so Terry telling us we could share his bed while everyone else had the other rooms and the couches meant that it was a great place for me to pass out around 3am. I felt like a boring girlfriend but this was my friend’s bed and my boyfriend kept telling me that he offered this bed to a couple, so he should expect it. It just didn’t feel right to me.
