Last night, my partner and I went to Refuge for the first time. Hmm don’t know where to start..but I’ll start saying the positive things. The sound system was amazing. I really enjoyed the music, there’s definitely no complaints about that. I also like the tent area, it had its own unique aesthetic. Now to my woes, the crowd on the dance floor…not to many people were dancing. They were taking pictures on the dance floor, It kinda was giving the type of people that get rejected at the basement. I also want to mention that at the front door, they only covered the back of my camera but not the front ???? At that point it felt like these stickers were playing a larp. And why were people in the crowd so uptight 😭 there seemed to be an influx of dinosaur ass mean girls giving 😐 ass faces. Is this how it is regularly???
I liked the atmosphere as it gotten later in the night, before 1:30am it just felt like a bot lobby imo
