Low clearance ceiling enclosed carport - will I be able to convert to a semi-reasonable garage space?

The previous owner of the house enclosed a carport and added an additional room of about the same size next to it with a full opening - creating a single very large workroom he used as a woodshop and storage. The room is unfinished, with one 20 AMP circuit wiring.

the room is 19 ft deep and the new side is approx 14' wide, the old side is same depth, about 16 ft wide.

the issue is the headroom. The grade slightly slopes down towards the new room, so the clearance in the old section is 7'1" and new section is 7'2-7'2 1/2"

I want to install a single garage door 8 ft wide. We have not yet framed in an opening. My question is - what is the smallest clearance garage door and opener I can have someone install.. for a "reasonable" price (say under $2000 for door and opener, not including framing) and what would the final clearance be for a car... I'm assuming the standard header would be 8" for the opening, but possibly with a glulam beam we could do a 6" header - but would that matter at all??

I'm hoping to be able to get a Suv into the space that is about 75-76 inches high
