Salam! I’m looking for something genuine and intentional

I’m quite a layered person 😂. I’m playful, sarcastic and love to joke, but underneath that I’m sensitive, thoughtful and full of depth. I’m naturally curious and love conversations that somehow go from complete nonsense to faith, psychology, life and everything in between.
Faith is important to me. I pray, seek Islamic knowledge and want to continue growing in my deen. I don’t wear hijab but I am open to it, I do want Allah at the centre of the marriage and family I eventually build.

I speak three languages — English, Bangla (my mother tongue) and Arabic. I love languages, different cultures and travelling, and I’m always learning something new.
I’m very feminine and love fashion and beauty, but I’m equally passionate about health and fitness. I go to the gym regularly, enjoy strength training, Pilates and cardio, and care about eating well and looking after myself.

Career-wise I’m ambitious and independent, but ironically my dream is quite traditional 😂. I want a peaceful marriage, a beautiful home, children inshaAllah, and to eventually be a very present wife and mother.

What I’m looking for: a masculine, protective, dependable and emotionally intelligent man who wants to provide and take care of his family while being gentle with his wife. Confidence without arrogance, leadership without control.
Please also be curious about life. I need someone with substance — someone who seeks knowledge, works on himself and wants to grow spiritually, mentally and emotionally. Health is important too; I’d love someone who trains/goes to the gym, eats well and genuinely cares about taking care of himself.

Ultimately, I want my husband to be my best friend — depth and silliness, attraction, affection, loyalty, travelling, growing in our deen and building a beautiful life together.
And I’m not looking to collect pen pals or spend years in a talking stage 😂.

If there’s compatibility, I’d rather involve family and see if there’s genuinely something there.

I am open minded as I’m traditional, location and such is not such an issue. Life is short :)

Heya everyone

I have been headhunted for a release manager contracting role.

My background is within financial services (mid-sized banks) so ideally I am expecting a £500 day rate, the office I am expected to travel to will take me an almost 2 and half hour commute per day.

I would be more than happy to do this if this was within my local city but it’s in a city next to me.

I also have a chronic condition which is under the disability act.

I’ve tried to negotiate £500 day rate and 1-2x a week office attendance due to my condition.

What are your experiences when negotiating office attendance? Am in a position to be negotiating this due to my condition? New to contracting after being made redundant. I dont want to also jump at this opportunity because it’s the first contract i’ve been offered.. if I agree to 3x a week travelling and a flare up happens i won’t make it 😅

Any advice will be appreciated.
