I 23f am so embarrassed whenever I see my 22m bf roommate.
I’m just gonna dive right into this because I’m very embarrassed but some context, I still live with my parents my boyfriend doesn’t he lives in an apartment with his best friend. Him and his best friend have very conflicting schedules and they hardly ever see each other. This means usually when I’m at the apartment it’s just me and my boyfriend,this usually just means that we have “louder” than usual sex. Which is still quiet because this is an apartment complex with very thin walls you could be talking at a normal tone with the door shut and in the room across the hall with the door shut, you can still hear the conversation.
We have always been respectful in the past and make sure that we’re super quiet when we know that he is there, but I honestly don’t know if that even works because he has “jokingly” said that he has really good noise canceling headphones.
But anyways a few days ago, we were home alone, and in the middle of us having sex we somehow didn’t hear him coming up the stairs outside, the front door open or him walking in and we were being so “loud” and we didn’t realize that he was home until we heard him shut his bedroom door that is right across the hall from my boyfriend‘s bedroom. I know for a fact, he heard us and we’re so embarrassed, I don’t know if I should just act like nothing happened or make him some I’m sorry you heard us having sex cookies. But in all honesty, I don’t know how I’m gonna be able to look at this guy in the face, he’s known my boyfriend since high school and he now knows what we sound like having sex for sure. My boyfriend is also equally as embarrassed as I am but he lives with the man and he doesn’t know if it’s awkward for both of them or just him and he’s making it awkward, but they haven’t brought it up at all. We don’t even know what to do in a situation like this are we overthinking it?
