Hello,
I have a relative who is an ex servicemen and wants to prepare for UPPSC/ MPPSC exam. What are the general cutoff, trends and examination cycle that is currently followed. Also, what can be his course of action if he wants to attempt this year prelims (UPPSC) in December if he is retiring next month.
It would be of great help if somebody can highlight, do’s/ don’t and preparation strategy that can be followed.

Need a legal advice as my company sent me a legal notice to pay a bond amount of 5 Lakhs, if I leave the company before 2 yrs but because of some circumstances I left after 1.8 yrs. They hired me at a salary of 5 LPA as a trainee and now when I left they want me to pay 5 Lakhs because they say they had spend on my training and me leaving had caused financial and reputational losses.

I reasoned with them that I am willing to pay in proportion of the amount of the time period which is left but they are not considering any options. They had also added interest on top of 5 LPA and also there legal fees should be paid by me.

They also gave a 7 days deadline for replying otherwise they will file a civil & criminal case whichever applicable in breach of contract act.

Just need an advice on what can they do and will this absurd amount stand in the court?
