Hand holding Vs natural exploration

After playing Gothic 1 remake I have absolutely loved the no quest makers, ambiguous instructions that you have to pay attention too.

I'm 90% certain TES 6 will be tailored to the casual gamer whuch is a shame but an 'explorer' option in setting would be great, something like what assasins creed odyssey had where it would tell you what part of the map the quest is in and whether N, S, E or W from a land mark. But at the bare minimum please let us turn quest markers off

Will we see our body/legs in 1st person?

Personally in a 1st person game it always adds to the immersion and gives weight to your character! With the game meant to be the biggest bethesda have ever done and potentially being on next gen hardware I would be very disappointed if they go with the floating camera option for 1st person!

TES 6 needs to look and feel like a next gen game and without this it would cheapen it imo along with not seeing sheathed weapons on your character.

Do you think bethesda will give us a true 1st person experience like KCD2? It doesn't need to be that realistic but seeing your characters legs and feeling the weight would add alot, even footprints in sand/snow would be great!

My release theory for 2027

I am a firm 2027 believer for two reasons.

  1. The skyrim anniversary switch 2 ad

Most of us know about this and imo it's too on the nose, the part where the elf levels his speech up to 27 and is shown to be level 20. Bethesda knew exactly what they where doing with these numbers and as I said they are too on the nose to be random.

  1. The 18th February 2026 kinda funny games interview

Now this one is very interesting and could be a huge coincidence but I believe todd planned this perfectly in a way that not everyone would think too much into it. For those that don't know in the interview Todd says TES 6 is still 'a long way off' now this doesn't seem like much but if we go back to 18th February 2014 todd said the same thing when asked about Fallout 4, which at that point had not even been revealed and remember how todd has said to forget that TES 6 had even been revealed (2018 trailer). Fallout then went on to be revealed the next year in June 2015 and released in November 2015. I could see todd wanting to replicate this magic with a June reveal at xbox showcase 2027 and a release between then and November 2027.

In summary, I believe todd/bethesda want nothing more than to show us TES 6 but in the mean time there are plenty of hints which are intended to let those of us know how far along they are without actually telling us.

EDIT: I forgot to add with rumors of the next gen xbox releasing fall 2027 I can see TES 6 being a first day release with the platform, obviously also releasing on current gen too

Eventually showcase/stream

I reckon when bethesda announce that 'something us happening' it will be a twitter post saying 'Tomorrow'
