Financial/Consent Order uk
Hi there, just looking to vent really, but opinions and guidance welcome.
Its been 6 weeks since I applied for my financial order following my divorce. Its a fairly straight financial order with no pensions, or savings involved and a fair split that we were both in full agreement with.
After two weeks of hearing nothing I emailed my solicitor who advised due to work load they hadnt started yet and she would start that day.
Four weeks later and all i've had is a very basic draft, which looked ok to me, but they have since said they need to add some bits.
Am I being unreasonable in thinking that this should have been completed several weeks ago? To make matters worse I asked for an update on Monday and havent heard anything back at all.
Ive now complained via email and will be taking the complaint further when done. As if this wasnt stressfull enough as it is!
