I gave clone wars series another try after not liking the first season, and i am blown away. Finished season 5
So, i am a star wars fan, i have seen all the episodes but not so much of the movies that aren't the episodes. Lately i started watching the story in order from the beginning with acolyte and now i am on the clone wars series.
Mini storytime:
At first i felt like skipping it because i heard it is a kid show, its boring and me myself did not feel like burning thru 7 seasons with each episode 20 minutes long. Nevertheless, i gave it a try anyways. I started on season 1, and i must say, i was disappointed. It felt like i was forcing myself to watch it. I couldn't watch it anymore so i quit on episode 6 if i remember right.
I decided to give myself a break from star wars, and 6 months later i decided to start again. I skipped a few episodes from season 1, finished it, and went into season 2, where i was actually enjoying the watch. I proceeded to continue and now i find myself deeply connected to the story.
I finished the finale of season 5 and not only did episode 16 stun tf out of me with darth sidiuos's appearance when he fought savage and maul (that fight was AWESOME I LOVED IT) and the whole mandalore/maul arc. But then i get blessed with the 4 best episodes I've seen so far in the series.
The fact that Anakin did everything to find out who really stood behind the attacks of the jedi until catching Barris which was a CRAZY twist i did not see coming at AAALLL. I got some suspicions after she stole ventress lightsaber and met Ahsoka on the place where she told her to go. But like, that was the jedi that saved the day on Geonisis in the tank and like blowed the whole thing up. And in the ship with taht worm virus. Its just so heart breaking that she would frame it on her own friend who trusted her so much. The face on Ahsoka when she got caught. No, how could you 😞:(
And when Ahsoka did not want to rejoin the order and how anakin was so broken, and sad and just Sad man. With the sunset behind them and ohhh man oh man.
Its just crazy. I now fully understand why y'all be wanting people to watch the clone wars series. Its slow at the beginning, but so worth it later. And i haven't even seen season 6 and 7. I am so excited, but now. I need a break, this season finale broke me.
