I'm fairly new to oly lifts. I feel confident in maintaining mechanical control under light weights (literally 65lb or less with this movement). My coach has me running a cycle where with this movement, I'm doing 2 push presses into 2 split jerks, and I'm pushing it to roughly 75% effort with these. Or what feels to me like an 8/10.

My workout today, I caught all of my reps on my upper sternum, and I actually am developing a pretty gnarly bruise as the day has gone on. I actually had to stop my auxiliary dips during the workout as I thought I had strained a pec muscle, but it's apparent now that it's a bone.

I know it's a tough fix without seeing them, but has this happened with any of your presses or SJ's before? How should I go about fixing it?
