OneUI 8.5 Camera app : Give us back "Object Eraser" without agreeing to AI ‼️

OneUI 8.5 Camera app : Give us back "Object Eraser" without agreeing to AI ‼️

OneUI 8.5 update done.

And surprise! They moved Object Eraser to the AI assistant hence forcing us to accept their conditions of using it.

Give us back Object Eraser for non "AI bs" users !! (edit for those not understanding : AI bs is companies putting everything behind AI marketing. I know object Eraser was already some AI stuff, but it didn't require to accept online management. All was done offline.)

EDIT : Thx to Nyvronis comment , we can get our good old Object Eraser without AI assistant

Hey there.

Just a feedback about Kubuntu installation experience that went bad then good.

I built a new dekstop with this MB + 9800X3D + 9070 XT OC.
I updated in january the bios to 4.03 waiting for my DDR5 to arrive.

Today, I tried installing Kubuntu on my brand new PC but it was stuck on loading splash screen. Damn. I lost 1 hour trying X methods thinking it was Linux issue with my GPU or bios settings.

But no. It was not. Actually it was the bios firmware...
I saw there was an update 4.21. Flashed it.
Now Kubuntu is installing... Finally!!

I just discovered, by chance, that the mouse pointer is growing bigger as you move it around quickly!! Funny and useful in case of lost pointer haha

Hello world. As I'm building a new gaming desktop, I am thinking should I stick with W11 or do the switch that I did on my travel laptop a few months ago. Is it stable and fast enough for gaming too ? The aeternal question. Especially for gaming equipements (I see Logitech or Steelseries don't have Linux Ghub or steelseries GG but there's often a way).

2 days ago I saw Ubuntu just released 26.04. Was a sign. So, I made the switch yesterday on my 2nd desktop (till I mount the new one). And went with KDE falvour after some research.

After 8 years with windows on it, I fully wiped that SSD to install Kubuntu 26.04.

I'm suprised how there are so many settings to customize the OS. Just touching the top of the iceberg here.

I encountered no bugs so far but one (when activating Adaptive Sync on Auto, I get black screen when I play a video fullscreen).

And love how I can customize many things.

So I'm giving it a good try and I hope this journey will be long, stable and full of discovering.
