Looking for some advice for my new kitchen that has no windows.

Think I will take that standalone wooden shelf down and put either:

1. a mirror
2. a painting/framed poster (maybe even of a nice window hahahha)
3. Some sconce lights on that wall
4. open shelving

Also would like to replace the ceiling lights and looking for tips what would work here and not be in the way of the cabinets opening.

There are also currently dimming lights under all of the top cabinets which is nice.
