LMDF Special Red Title/Menu Screen Requirements

General consensus is you have to complete all LMDF challenges to get the special, red title/menu screen. Is this actually true?

The user said they've earned their red screen without completing the door challenge, so I assumed a different region of the game may have different requirements due to some strange coding issue. They've disagreed so I'm thinking they've faked their red screen or the door challenge is not actually needed.

Can anyone else confirm the door challenge is not needed for the red screen? Maybe the real requirement is not completing all challenges but only the last 3 "Divine Comedy" challenges (Limbo, Purgatory, and Inferno). Someone go look at the code to confirm like those ppl that confirmed the Final Challenge requirements. lol

Ik it's such a small thing to argue about but when ya ❤️ the game so much you just want to know all the small details about it. I'm still finding new stuff in the game like there are 5 spinner locations in the first section.

LMDF Thoughts

Finished Rank 5 yesterday and all the challenges a few days earlier and I think i can convey my overall thoughts about the whole mini-game.

  1. Pace is not fast enough. After the first section it's a good pace but having to redo the first section with all the cars and ppl bumping into you and blocking your shots is very annoying. I want the pace to be like Tofu/4th Survivor from RE2R. Mini-game start and you just go unimpeded.

  2. Enemy Variety. How about lickers in the buildings in Raccoon City? Ivies in the hospital? Regenradors on the street of Raccoon City. There's a lot of enemy variety but spice it up!

  3. Soundtrack. Give me something pumping. Again, Tofu/4th Survivor had a pumping track.

  4. Axe Fragility. I have no complaints about the fragility of the axe. You're supposed to adjust your playstyle. Game also gives two way to repair it, one way to heal it and the invincibility perk to save axe uses.

  5. Timer. Was never a real issue and a minor inconvenience in Rank 4/5. Probably because I use Wolf cosplay and timer perk. I do recall about two rly odd runs in the hospital where I could not find more than like two spiders and I went everywhere except Blisterhead office. Idk if I was accidentally despawning them.

  6. Perk RNG. Ig my only issue is the different versions of the same perk.

  7. Weapon RNG. Yeah, I restarted Rank 4/5 if I didn't get a shotgun in the first weapon case which compounded me hating the pace of the first section even more.

  8. Inventory management. Let me discard my equipped weapon. 😐 Please just program the game to not give us the same weapon more than once.

Mini-game needs some polish but I find it addicting and relaxing starting in the hospital (not chainsaw hospital) and going through the building, gas station and the train.

39,200 Completion Points (CP)

So after completing all challenges and buying everything you should have 39,200 CP leftover.

The 39,200 CP is probably slack, but if the future DLCs also use CP, I'll have enough to buy an RPG at the start or something that will make play less stressful. 🍍

I'm saving 64,200 CP just in case (didn't buy Hellblaze). One less weapon added to the RNG pool means more RPG and Requiem chances. Using my 🧠 lol

Leon's Inferno: No Epic Perks Needed and on Top of Car

Idk if anyone mentioned it before but shooting his heart while he's on top of the card does like 1.5k to 2k more damage? Maybe I'm not accounting for something bc I don't understand where the extra damage came from.

I used a no-star Requiem and no Epic Perks on Rank 3.

  1. Max Hot Fuzz +50

  2. Max Scatter Shot +60

  3. Streamline 130+

  4. Revolver +20 x 2

  5. Blood Bank +80

  6. Sharpshooter +50

  7. Axe the Axe +60

At the beginning I parryed and focused shot his heart for 3k+. I thought about resetting but I played it out. I used 2 more heals so Streamline got another small boost, and when he got on top of the car to do his jump attack, I focused shot his heart again and I saw the challenge trophy popped!!!

I died two shots later after I ran out of mag ammo and I discarded my axe after the first parry. Bless the devs didn't require us to kill Tyrant or finish the run to keep the trophy.

I don't know why the damage increased by 1.5k to 2k when I shot him on top of the car...

Does Tyrant like have decreased defenses stats after he drops below a certain health?

Did the car really make a difference?

Did using two more heals boost Streamline to a crazy number above 130+?

Maybe this will help someone or someone can point out where the damage came from. If this was a real trophy the system would have recorded a vid for me to review myself 😕 I got the bloody wallpaper though lol.
