Adjustable bed's massage motor making noise: Why, what can I do about it, and what are the proper products to use?
We have an adjustable massage bed (out of warranty at this point). Recently one of the massage motors has started rattling/squeaking. I have looked up the motor, but the company's site only seems to give information about the casing.
I am assuming the issue is that this needs some cleaning + lubing I have tried searching online, but I cannot find anything about what kind of cleaning agent and lubricant, etc is best to use. Everything says to just use "correct lubrication" or "check the manufacturer's manual", but I don't know what the correct lube is and I cannot find a useful manual!
My questions:
- Am I on the right track and this is probably a cleaning/lubricant issue?
- What cleaning and lubricants should I use? Is there something specific I should be looking for? Would sewing machine oil work here?
- Is there a specific resource recommended for beginners on maintenance for this type of motor?
