Me and a buddy play the game casually but try to build and play as competitively together as we can, ever since Royal Base (A deck my buddy plays) got its updates I have not been able to beat it, I have a few decks I play, Sukuyamon (the deck I have been playing the most recently), Gallantmon, Beelzemon, Rocks/Minera, and Ice-snowl. It seems like anything I try to do does nothing. I try to remove from his security stack early with lvl. 3s he builds it back up with the new security adding effects of Royal Base not requiring a face down card, I remove his digimon on the field he doesn't care much and just plays Hornet Eraser for full cost putting me to 5, 6, or 7 memory sometimes and it doesn't matter how well I utilize it he'll just do it again.
I feel like I am playing well into it and my buddy agrees but it comes to a point, in most games were he takes an action and I can tell there is nothing I can do.
Please let me know what you guys think, am I missing something in how I should be playing against it.
