We are in the process of enrolling our 9-year-old child in either GHAC or HAC. I’ve spoken with a couple of people at the swim gym, and they mentioned that their kids used to attend HAC but later moved to GHAC. I don’t want to share all of their reasons, but one thing that stood out was their concern about kids being moved up even when they felt the children weren’t yet ready, and that some swimmers seemed to be favored over others.

GHAC seems to be a bit more expensive, but the flexibility in scheduling could make it worthwhile. There’s also the Ancaster Alligators Swim Club, and we plan to explore that option as well.
