Its almost a full year past the deadline, and nothing is finished. They finally pour the base for the road, and poured the side walks, BUT now they are busting up parts of the sidewalks THEY JUST POURED. Whoever promises to never grant KADA another contract in this city will get my vote for mayor because this is insane. Apologies for the bit of a rant, I just needed to scream into the void for a moment.

Anyone know if there is a way to report people constantly ignoring these signs? I live on a street near the road closure at Ottawa/Main and my street has now become the main route for everyone from Main st. But they have to pass multiple road closed signs.

I know this may sound petty, but we have a lot of stray cats here and kids on the street and people drive like crazy down here. Especially considering only one car can fit at a time.

I have been looking online and checked on the cable 14 youtube channel but I have not seen anything. Does anyone know if there will be any debates or can even some good long interviews with the candidates?

A reminder to always give missing persons information to the police and not family. People may be hiding from abusers and not actually missing. In those cases, police and confirm they are safe without telling family where the person is.

Hi All, hope this is allowed.

I will be becoming a first time Mom giving birth at St. Joseph’s hospital in the next couple weeks and have gotten so much mixed information as to what the hospital provides and doesn’t provide for Moms and Babies.

As per the print-out my OB gave me it says the hospital does NOT provide baby wipes, diapers, nor does it provide some post-partum necessites for Mom like a peri bottle.

If any of you have experienced child birth there within the past year, I would appreciate any input so I can try to be as prepared as possible without overpacking.

Looking to rent an apartment for the first time. Applications ask for last month's rent as a deposit. If my application is denied, do I get the deposit back? What about if my application is accepted but I decide not to rent with them?

So we have Galaxy Burger, recently crowned the best burger in Canada. BUT - we also sort of have Fat Rabbit over in St Kitts, the ONLY Canadian establishment on the "101 Best Burgers in the World:" list (worth noting: the "Best in the World:" folks at Upper Cut only rank restaurants, not trucks or pop-ups).

I've been to Galaxy Burger, and it's been two thumbs up every time. I've NOT been to to Fat Rabbit, so I'm curious ... has anyone in our brave little sub been to both? Can you drop a comparison?

Additionally, has anyone been to Fat Rabbit pop-ups? Curious what kind of a menu they bring on the road and what it's like.

I’m writing this to see if anyone has had any similar experiences. Basically during art crawl me and my friend decided to visit the pale blue dot on and go to the basement and check out the antiques. While we were there we started hearing strange banging then saw a guy staring at us while it was happening, then a lady(storeowner??) came down and while looking directly at us was like yep theres noone here and then started singing a creepy lullaby. me and my friend horrified decided to run out of the store and while talking about the interaction outside an old man comes up to us and starts telling us that he killed himself the night before. This is honestly so fucking weird it sounds so fake to say it i just wanted to see if anyone has gone through something similiar or knows what the fuck happened😭😭

I’m seriously missing Italy and looking for all the little things I can do at home to bring that feeling back. Whether it’s food, music, movies, scents, recipes, décor, drinks, or even little routines that make you feel like you’re sitting somewhere in Italy again.

Give me ALL your suggestions
