This is OINP official guidelines and part of their webform response to the similar question. What do you think of below summary table based on this? Please advise especially on counting study permit work experience under Ontario Work Exp!

Work experience in Canada You can use any Canadian paid work experience in any occupation TEER category within the last 3 years.

Work experience in the job offer position must be paid and full-time. In addition, the work experience must have been obtained with your job offer employer in the same occupation and at the same location as your job offer.

Work experience in Ontario:

o   OINP Help Button - how long you have been working in Ontario in a position different from the one associated with your current job offer

o   Webform Response - must be paid and full-time (or part-time equivalent) and can be in any NOC occupation. All Ontario work experience must be supported by valid legal status.

Category	What experience can count?
Work experience in Canada	Any Paid Canadian work exp. during work, study or any legal status.
Job-offer-position experience	Only experience in the job-offer position — same employer, occupation/NOC and location. Must be full-time.
Ontario work experience	Any paid Ontario work, including experience in the job-offer position, as long as it is full-time or part-time equivalent. Does it mean exp. From both work and study permit?

NOC 21211 21221 21223 People have been waiting since the last 2 years in GTA for these NOCs to be included in the draw. No luck so far. Do you think there'll be a change in luck in the new stream?

They say we get to choose if we want to receive nomination for Express Entry route or Non-Express Entry route. So during the application, was there any such option to be selected? if yes, was it at the employer side or applicant side? OR they just automatically detects this if we enter the active express entry profile number?

Correction/Update: It is actually eligible.
The definition says a “recent Ontario graduate” is someone who has completed ONE of the following: ✅ (a) A degree or diploma that takes at least 2 years OR ✅ (b) master’s PhD Ontario college graduate certificate

🔥 Key Insight (Very Important) 👉 The “2-year requirement applies ONLY to degrees/diplomas (option a) 👉 It DOES NOT apply to graduate certificates (option b) or master degree.

My Job duties have significantly changed since last month which doesn't exactly match with the NOC submitted in EOI. Is there any way to update it or should I wait for the new announcement and file a new EOI?

My organization is strictly professional and in any required documents, they're gonna mention the history of Roles to the exact date when it came into effect. If I submit a new EOI with an updated NOC, let's say a month or two later after the new announcement, can we still backdate it to the new role that came into effect in the organization (just 1 month back and I know I'm gonna lose the 6 months experience point anyway)? In the case of potential ITA, wouldn't OINP question the overlap of an EOI with a different NOC and the start date of the current role? Can that be explained by the HR letter that the role was changed within the organization around May 18th but we were waiting for the new announcement to since OINP had already announced withdrawal of current streams.

2024 - I was on study permit, purpose - inviting parents to attend convocation.

Parent's Bank balance: approx. $24,000, Fixed deposits: approx. $15,000, Stock investments, Residential and commercial properties in home country, CA certified net worth documents, Leave sanction letter, Proposed stay: 3 weeks, Bank statements (6 months), Income tax returns (last 3 years), Payslips and pension statements, Other supporting financial documents

Refusal : insufficient ties to home country, insufficient financial strength, and concern that they would not leave Canada.

We waited approximately two years before reapplying. During this time, my parents also travelled to multiple Southeast Asian countries to establish travel history.

2026 Application - I am now on a work permit and employed in a TEER 1 occupation.

Parents networth: bank balance: $28,000, Fixed deposits: $16,000, Provident fund accumulated over entire career, Stock investments and gold certificates, Joint ownership of residential and commercial properties, Recent handover of a pre-construction apartment (purchased 3 years earlier) with valuation report, proprty tax payments, and property management activity, Bank statements and income tax returns, Leave sanction letter and other supporting documents, 17 days visit to meet family

Refusal : Applicant’s financial situation and assets are not sufficient to support travel.

What can be improved before reapplying in 6 months to strengthen the chances of approval for my parents’ visitor visa?

If we change the IndMoney linked bank accounts to NRO, would we still be able to sell existing US stocks and withdraw money to NRO? Or do we have to sell all US stock holdings, withdraw money and then change the status to NRO?
