Looking for my person, but let’s start as friends.

Not really looking for a “hey wyd” → disappear kind of connection.

I want the kind where we slowly become each other’s favourite person ,best friends, partners in crime, and eventually something more. Someone loyal, gentle, emotionally mature, and genuinely funny.

Bonus points if you’re 6ft+, have a good sense of humour, can make me laugh when I’m having a bad day, and have the patience to listen to my completely unnecessary rants.

I’ll give you the same energy conversations at 2 AM, random updates about my day, laughing at stupid things, being there when life gets heavy, and choosing each other even after the honeymoon phase is long gone.

Basically, I’m looking for a lifelong friendship that might accidentally turn into love.

If that sounds like something you’d want too, say hi.

Worst case: we become friends.

Best case: we become that couple. :)

23F | India | Looking for a long-term friend (please don't ghost me after exchanging 7 messages)

Hey! This is my first time posting here, so be nice.

I'm 23F from India, looking for a genuine, long-term friendship. Not a "talk for one evening and vanish into the Reddit void" kind of friendship ,I mean the kind where we actually get to know each other and become people who randomly send each other memes at 2 a.m.

A little about me:

I love reading (currently obsessed with romance and sci-fi).

I enjoy random conversations, sharing music, sending reels, and occasionally overthinking life.

I'm a good listener and I appreciate people who put in the same effort.

I don't care if you're awkward, shy, an introvert, or someone who takes 20 minutes to decide what to text. Just be kind, respectful, and don't make me carry the entire conversation like it's a group project.

If you decide to message me, tell me a little about yourself! Your age, where you're from, your hobbies, or a random fun fact. Bonus points if you open with something more creative than "hey."

Let's see if Reddit can actually produce a lasting friendship instead of another unread chat request.
