Superhero v. Diddy

I keep having a recurring dream where I discover that I have superpowers. Specifically, magic. I find myself at a luxury waterpark resort trying to learn my powers and decide how I'm going to use them.

That's when Diddy attacks. P.Diddy wants me dead, or on his side. The remainder of my dream is me trying to find my hotel room while being hunted by P.Diddy and his enforcers.

So, I'm running a homebrew and my players have found themselves in the unique position to order the solar system and impact planar traits. They essentially summoned a cosmic amoeba to swallow their reality. This effectively cut off all outer planes, leaving only the inner planes attached to the setting.

The 4 primary elemental planes are represented by 4 planets. The shadowfel and the feywild are represented by moons and of course there is the home planet representing the material realm.

The players have found a magical ororry that has fallen apart. They can put it back together in any order they want. Peril (home planet) and it's 2 moons are the only bodies still on the mechanism. They players have to decide where and how to replace the other 4 planets. There is a gear assembly for 4 different orbital paths, the 2 closest to the sun can only hold 1 planet each, while the 2 further paths can each hold up to 2 planets in opposing orbits. Position determines how many Elemental Lords can be "in play" this is equal to positioning (plane 1, closest to the sun, can have 1 lord; plane 4, farthest, can have 4)

Here is where I need help: Each elemental lord will have 3 world traits tied to it. 1 regular, 1 empowered, 1 negative. Essentially, being i play at all means that the regular trait applies to the world. If you meet a secret goal of an elemental lord it's empowered trait also applies. If you piss them off or activate their taboo, their negative trait applies also.

I need to list the different traits for the different elemental lords and I'm running out of steam. I'll give an example, then I'd really like some ideas.

Example: Monolith is an earth lord: Trait: All creatures with a fly speed are 1 size category smaller. Empowered: all creatures with a burrow speed are 1 size category larger. Negative: Flight magic does not exist.

Here are the elemental lords:

  • Water
    • The Winter Queen: Ice
    • Ouros: Fresh Water
    • Coralis: Shallow Ocean
    • Krakos: Deep Ocean
      • Regular: Creatures with a swim speed are 1 size larger
      • Empowered:
      • Negative: aquatic Aberrations exist in the world
  • Fire
    • The Ifriti Bois: Bollywood style dancers
      • Regular: All fire elementals are Ifrit
      • Empowered: Genies that grant wishes exist
      • Negative: Wishes always give the monkey paw result
    • Smolder: Fire elemental version of Elton John
    • Magmos: Molten opera singer
      • Regular: Flying Creatures are 1 size smaller
      • Empowered: Burrowing Creatures are 1 size larger
      • Negative: Flight magic doesn't work.
    • Flicker: If Taylor Swift were a candlelight
  • Air
    • Zolaris: Lightening
    • Vespera: Gentle Breeze
    • Gale: Unrelenting Wind
    • The Nothing: Vacuum
    • Sirocca: Used to be shifting sands (earth) but switched when she left Monolith for Gale
  • Earth
    • Monolith: Mountainous Earth
      • Regular: Flying Creatures are 1 size smaller
      • Empowered: Burrowing Creatures are 1 size larger
      • Negative: Flight magic doesn't work.
    • Krystallos: Crystals and Gems
      • Regular: crystals are magic
    • Auros: Metals
  • Feywilds
    • Phyllia: the mushroom queen
    • Cenotaph: Think evil Fey equivalent to weeping angels
    • The Pucca King: Tiny anthropomorphic animal fey

I'd love to see what people come up with.

This is my first adventure in my setting. So the players get to really determine the flavors of all future adventures.
