For context I've been running with Hoka Clifton 10s for a few months and I've been struggling with the fit, because I have quite wide feet. I pulled the trigger this week on some NB 1080s V15. Today was my third day in a row running, I wasn't going to run but new shoes and all that jazz I felt like I wanted to. I have been running since October last year and I'm getting close to the sub 25 minute 5k , today I ran my PB but it was flat out. I'm still at 98kg and the new shoes felt really good. Nice and plush for the heavier chap and I would definitely recommend them over the Clifton 10 and I'm immensely proud of myself for getting to this point. I was 18 stone and back then the thought of running wasn't exactly my idea of fun but now I genuinely can't go more than three days without getting itchy to run. If anyone feels like it's hard work and they're struggling with the mental side of it, please don't quit. It is honestly worth the effort for the mental health it provides
