Hello! I am knitting a rectangle flat in stockinette stitch. The yarn is pretty slippery. Are these little gaps just a tension issue or some other mistake? I’ve frogged a few times and keep getting the same issue… any tips are appreciated!

Yarn is Loops and Threads Silky Soft Yarn
Needles are US 10

This is my first time using a thinner weight yarn with thicker needles. Hoping to make a poncho!

Update: thanks everyone for the support !! I’ll keep going - I’m hoping to make a few ponchos so maybe for the next one I’ll try a different yarn!!
