Hi all. I have a couple of taper screw implants that were put in by a dentist in Texas. I now live in Charlotte NC and I have had no luck finding someone who can tighten the screw on a loose implant. I've been to an oral surgeon who has confirmed that it is just a loose screw, but my current dentist tried to charge me $800 for the cost of the tools that are needed to tighten the screw. I went for another consult and was referred to a prosthodontic who hasn't been returning my phone calls. Never in a million years did I think that a loose screw on an implant would be this difficult, but somehow it's stumped the folks that I've consulted with so far.

Any advice on a provider I can go to? Thanks!!!
