Hi everyone,

I know that public universities in Germany are generally considered better than private universities, especially in terms of reputation and cost. But I come from an Electronics and Communication Engineering background and now want to switch into Data Science/AI.

Currently, I’m working as a full stack developer, but the salary/package is very low and honestly not enough even for my basic needs. I’m confused about what path I should take next.

Should I:

• continue working in full stack development for 1 more year,
• learn German during that time,
• and then move to Germany?

Or:

• should I move now,
• take an education loan,
• and do a Master’s in a private university in Germany to switch into AI/Data Science?

Also, which private universities in Germany are actually decent for AI/Data Science and have good job opportunities afterward?

I would really appreciate honest advice from students or professionals already in Germany.
